Boot problems - BIOS Splash screen -> Black screen

Hello people of Linustechtips. Today I finally got around to do something with my occasional boot issue.
* 90% of the time I powered on computer it goes to a BIOS screen and said something like "There was a boot problem with a boot device". I usually igonered it and went in to the BIOS and booted from there. I have been doing this for 3 weeks.
* Today I decided to "load optimized settings and reboot". Turns out my computer now wont let me boot past the bios splashscreen... I can't even enter the BIOS. (SPAMMING F12, DEL, F9...).
Whenever I power my comp. now it resets a couple of times (powers on and off), about three times. Then it shows me the BIOS splashscreen for a very long time... 1 - 2 minutes. after that I only get a blackscreen.

--- What I've done ---
- Taking out the clock battery and taking out the power cord for 15minutes+
- Plugging out all additional HDDs
- Removing my GTX 660...
- Removing USB storage devices (2).

--- Specs ---
MB: Gigabyte z77-d3h
Gpus: Asus GTX 780 DirectCU II, Gigabyte GTX 660
Powersupply: Corsair TX750M
Storage: Kingston SSD 120gb(boot), some toshiba laptop hdd 320gb i think, 1TB WD green.
CPU: i7-3770k, no overclock....
RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengeance 1600mhz

Note: The BIOS splashscreen I am seeing now is different than the one I used to see....

The splashscreen changed? Interesting. But you cant f12 and see what bootable devices register?

Also try reseating your ram or even just trying to boot with one known good stick of ram just to see if you cant get it to post and get into bios.

F12 or or the other BIOS keys seem not to do anything ...

Tried booting with one RAM stick now, doesn't seem to change at all. Gonna try using different sticks and moving them now

For the sake of diagnostics, I also reccomend first trying to at least get into bios. So until that point, continue on with your drives and gfx card out of the system. Swap one stick of ram in at a time, see if you can get to bios. if you cant consider trying a different power supply and consider reseating the cpu. How old is the PC?

My computer is from the oldest parts (Cpu, RAM, PSU, SSD, HDD) More than 2 years old. having a hard time finding the bill :P

Reseating my CPU will be put on hold for now (gotta get some cooling paste). And I am pretty sure it isn't my h100i.
I don't have another PSU... Can try one from a friend of mine maybe tomorrow...

Note: I personally think the problems are caused by my HDDs... although they are plugged out now. Reason being that there is a lot of shaking in my room.

hmmm weird, further trying to reseat the RAM. I encountered that the computer wont boot, but turn on and off when only one 4GB RAM stick is populating the RAM port. If I put all the sticks back it boots to the BIOS screen again...

I would definitely try procuring some known good ram, and throwing that in there....

Your hard drive is irrelevant to bios. I doubt that is the issue. You can boot into bios without any disks installed. If you cant even get into bios with no disks or expansion cards installed, you are narrowing it down to the processor, ram, mobo and powersupply. Those are the only essential components to get a PC to post.

Removed all but PSU, RAM, CPU and MB.

I tried to CLR CMOS, which only makes my computer loop (on and off). I do get to see a small screen at every third boot where it shows me "Gigabyte Uefi DualBios screen". Spamming F12, DEL or F9 doesnt affect it at all and it keeps looping...
This is the screen:

If you have any other ram that is known to be good try swapping in a stick. If not, next things you can try are a different PSU and reseating the processor. Get some high quality thermal compound and give the CPU a try. It seems unlikely that this is a psu issue as its just hanging up as the mobo is trying to post. Its still receiving power evidently. How old is this mobo? Have you OC'd the processor or ram in the past?

Especially considering the issues in the past, mobo may be faulty. Id love to tell you to try updating the bios\chipset, but that will prove difficult if it cant post.... :D

I have overclocked my CPU in the past, wasn't really necessary. So i've been running it at stock for almost 2 years. Mobo is old, over 2 years ;)

Gonna head over to the local hardware store tomorrow to get some thermal paste. Unfortunately I have no extra RAM.... wait... maybe I can get some from that HP. yes, but it will have to wait. It is currently in use C:

Yep if reseating the cpu doesn't work, might be able to find a mobo for pretty cheap if the socket is that old.

I've tried forcing backup BIOS on my MB. The motherboard does not react using any of the methods : http://www.overclockers.com/forums/showthread.php/697533-GUIDE-Forcing-backup-BIOS-on-Gigabyte-motherboards (Not doing option #3).

I got my comp. out of the on/off cycle by keeping only one RAM stick in the slot closest to the CPU.

damn this :P

Well... if it is my MB, RAM or CPU, it is not that long til Christmas where I know i'll be upgrading them.
