Which motherboard?

Go to solution Solved by Razarza,

I mentioned the Gigabyte one above, a lot of reviews on Amazon says they've had issues with windows 10, could that just be one of those things?

There isn't really much point in reading user reviews like that, most of the time a consumer rates something it is because they had a negative experience. If something just works the way it is suppose to you aren't really going to go out of your way to post anything about it.

After doing a bit of searching I can't find anything about what those people were talking about with Windows 10 not working with it. Gigabyte says it is W10 compatible and on the Amazon review another user says they have been using it since Dec'14 without issue. Chances are those that are having problems just installed the wrong driver.

If you are still worried about it then just check out a different motherboard that doesn't have reviews like that.

I was initially going to get the MSI H81M-E33 but I was unsure about it so I looked into others, what would be a reliable matx board for around the same price?

Needs USB 3.0 header and 3-pin fan connectors

You can use PCPP to sort through motherboards that are mATX and have front USB3 there are a few others that are around the same price as the one you found. At that price point there generally isn't too much of a difference in features. Anything from MSI, Gigabyte, Asrock, ASUS will be reliable.

That makes sense, I've got a Gigabyte board myself and know the interface so think I'll stick with that, thanks!
