System slow

garbeth

Hi guys, I have a small issue with my desktop, My specs are: Asus P8P67 M-pro, i5 2500K 4.6Ghz, RAM Gskill ripjaws 1648Mhz, SSD samsung 840 120Gb,ASUS GTX 560 TI OC.

so after that here is the problem i can´t solve, the pc takes to long arround 5 to 10 sec to run a program it used to be faster but a few weeks ago  started to act like this, i don´t know why i made a fresh install of windows 7 profesional, but nothing, i check the speed with my laptop wich is an i3 2.3Ghz and the laptop its faster opening the same program. i have checked msconfig, i have checked paging files, i have changed my OC settings and nothing. i just don´t know why is acting like this.

has anyone any idea??

thank you

with me whoever, ahead who can

are you running Anti virus? some AV programs scan the files before they open could be causing the delay...

Alternatively could be your SSD is on its way out
