I know EVGA has been around for years and are really known for their great video cards.

I also know that they make descent power supplies.

I have seen some other peripherals they have put out that are not quite up to standards with other companies.

I just saw they have entered the market for RAM and they are really inexpensive. Does anyone have any experiences with their ram good or bad?

Ram is ram. They don't make it, and based on their other products expect it to be Hynix.

Which is neither good nor bad.

Honestly EVGA is kinda a well if it's as cheap as the competition go for it, but few products they make justify any sort of price premium they put on it (outside of top of the line graphics cards specifically for competitive overclocking).

This is what I was looking at 16 gigs for 2400MHZ for $80.00 granted the CAS is a little high.  I have used Crucial, Corsair, Patriot with no issues. I was building a budget semi gaming PC with an APU and the faster MHz would make a difference.

This. If nothing else, even if the memory is only mediocre, this.

Except Crucial's CM is just as good if not better.

But hey the more the merrier.

Really depends on what the customer wants. Tried and true, EVGA. Try something new and good, Crucial.

Eh, user's pick.

Yes, it is cheaper. However I have to send this PC out on Friday. I can just go into Microcenter and pick this up if the ram I already have does not work.  The motherboard the ram came from died and I don't know what happened to it. So the ram I have already may or may not work.  But if I had the time I would pick up the Gskill.
