More RAM Causing WIERD Problems? (With GPU)

I just got another 8gb of Corsair Vengeance Pro RAM for my PC. After I put it in I ran Heaven benchmark just to see if it made any performance difference, and it did. But not in the way I hoped. Usually I would get around 70-72fps completely maxed, I ran it twice and got times got an average of 66fps. I was thinking it was really weird, because I have never heard of more RAM hurting performance, besides lessening overclocks. So I thought that maybe somehow it screwed something up with my CPU overclock and I might have to scale back. I launched HW just to see if the CPU was getting some weird temps or something, and no it wasn't, it was idling at the usual 35C~, but then I noticed something. My GPU was idling at 55C and as I watched it went from between 55-65C at idle. It is usually around 32C at Idle. I almost didn't believe it and thought that there was just something wrong with HW monitor, so I check afterburner and it showed the same, and I looked and my fans were spinning at Idle which they shouldn't be because I use 0rpm fan modes. And the card is hot. Under load it doesn't get any hotter then usual around 73C but why is it so hot at idle? ANyone seen this before? Also the GPU is not OCed.
