Can't decide between these 5 monitors :/

Ningols
Go to solution Solved by WoodenMarker,

But for gaming, wouldn't the ultrawide be "too wide" for peripheral vision without the curve? I've never seen an ultrawide monitor except in linuses videos^^

It wouldn't be too wide. It's far from something like 1080p surround gaming.

Hi guys,

Right now, I'm using this monitor and I want to change it. I have a budget of about 700€ (~760$) and I can't decide between these 5 monitors :

asus pg278q

dell p2715h

dell u2715h

dell u3415w

lg 34um95

I absolutely want at least 27inches, and 1440p but can't decide between 21/9 and 16/9, and curved or not for the ultrawide

And I don't really mind thick bezels, but absolutely love the sharpness of the u2715h's bezels :P

Thanks :)

What 5 monitors?

Edit: Oh, it in the tags. You should probably put them in the OP.

They're kind of all over the place in terms of resolution and pricing.

If money isn't at all an issue, I'd go with the U3415W

Well, I can't really go above my 700€ budget right now, but I really like the u3415w so I don't know if it'd be best to wait for about 3-4months to get it

The 34UM95 is a close second.

The 34UM95 is a close second.

But I read that it often suffers from backlight bleeds, and I'm also wondering if I'd be missing the curve or not? I'm usually sitting at 60-90cm (2-3 feet) from my display

A curve is nice but far from necessary.

From what I've read, serious backlight bleed is usually a call for replacement. Other than that, it shouldn't have anything worse than the average IPS panel.

It wouldn't be too wide. It's far from something like 1080p surround gaming.
