New Speakers

Hi, looking to upgrade my mainstream headphones (steelseries siberia v2) to proper studio monitors because of my upcoming work in the music business. I have looked towards the KRK Rokit RP5 G3s. 

Now I wonder if I can just use my onboard sound on my motherboard or if this is the time to get an Amp/Dac to my setup. Thank you for answers.
