and why? which one's more reliable, durable. I know both perform similarly but what are the benefits to buy either gtx 760 or hd 7950. thanks!

This one is not much more expensive

EVGA, i recommend the 7950 but that cooler will make it sound like a bloody rocket. If you can get a better cooler and then 7950 all the way. On the other hand you can wait for that which shall not be spoken of.

The 7950 with a better cooler, the 7950 can be Oced to a 7970 and the 7970 has roughly the same performance as a 770. And the more vram will help out with larger resolutions. So if you want to try 2540 x 1440 gaming, it would be the better choice.
