Okay so I've had my pc for about 6 months now and use it almost solely for gaming and some video editing, to keep it safe I've been using Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware and Anti-Exploit (both Premium) and up to today have seen no issues, I've not visited any "dodgy" websites or download anything untrustworthy, bar some google searching it is literally used to access steam and adobe.

so i'm a bit concerned that today when i ran a scan a malicious piece of software was found and quarantined.. after the scan i deleted the malicious software and ran another scan which yielded no results but know i feel somewhat uneasy.. am i missing something? is there something more i can do ?

any advice would be great as i'm not to sure if there's something i'm missing?

i also don't know what the malicious software that was found was doing.. was it stealing passwords or trying to gain some other information?

Thanks for reading
