Diagnostics and repair software

Hey I guys I wanted to know whats a good diagnostics and repair software you guys would recommend.

Do you know any one thats cmd based because i would be using it to repair a laptop thats not booting into windows

Run any Linux Live distros, and use gparted.

Get Bart PE, or ERD commander..(works better with Sata than BART, newer versions maybe ok though) and you should be able to do a chkdsk, that may get windows booting again.

 

Alternatively use a windows 7 disk to do a repair, and go into command from the repair menu.
