Games won't open if fullscreen

This started after I updated to AMD Crimson. 

I have two R9 270's in crossfire. Anytime I open a game fullscreen it just black screens and crashes. I have to edit the settings file to make it windowed. Does anyone else have this problem or know of a fix? 

Dota 2 will open fullscreen with -dx11 launch commands, but does use crossfire for some reason.
