Cleaning CM hyper 212

Tasuma

Ok odd question but a serious one. I've had my hyper 212 for a few years. I usually give it a good canned air and Q-tip cleaning. Could I take it out of my system and like hose it down and polish? I would obvisouly let it dry off completely and dry it. But would that in anyway damage the fins, coating, or the such? It is just so freaking dusty and I can't quite seem to get to that stuff. Q_Q

As long as you dried it off immediately after washing with some air to get rid of any water it won't mind. If you want to say polish up the top piece of aluminum you can also do that .

Washing should be fine. Just take care of drying it so no rusting or oxidation on copper parts. Alunimium is more resistant to that kind of wear.

Didn't even think of rust! Yea I would dry it asap. Maybe just use a blow dryer after towel drying it. :) Thanks for the advice you sexy beasts you.
