Hey guys so I just upgraded my machine with asus z97-a and i5-4690k. All settings are stock. I have not mess with the bios yet, but does this motherboard vcore voltage normal? http://i.imgur.com/FNDZNPO.png . The cpu is running around 1 voltage.

I think you mean the VID since the VCore is 1.728V which would be way high for CPU voltage, that should be the voltage in btw. As for the VID 1.012V that seems normal, what is it during a stress test that is what usually matters.

I did stress test using prime 95 for 7 hours and the cpu VID max value was 1.062 and motherboard VCORE was 1.744.

But it says the VCORE is under the motherboard sub tab.

Holy dicks!

It looks like your VID and VCORE are backwards.

For a second I was like what kind of cooling is setup here, I think the program is just like that, but it should be VCCIN usually not Vcore.

Yeah those are all good, ideally it's best to use programs like Adia 64 or Intel XTU since they give more realistic loads and don't overvolt like Prime 95.

I've used it, and VCORE and VCCIN for me are normal, not backwards.

Mine does the same thing in HW Monitor..pretty sure it's been displayed that way for all my Haswell-on ASUS MOBO's.
