Photoshop Wont Open Raw Files

craydawg
Go to solution Solved by CyberneticTitan,

I did a fresh install of windows a while back and reupdated my codecs Photoshop CC is now giving me the prompt.

"Could not complete your request because it is not the right type of document."

Anyone know the fix for this? Reinstall Ps?

have you tried launching ps, then clicking open on the raw file u want to open? What format is it? And have you tried opening it in lightroom to see if there's a problem with ur entire CC library? (assuming you have Lr)
