Preventing Static

Go to solution Solved by The Official Czex,

Build in the kitchen and touch the PSU (plugged in, but not on) occasionally (every 2-5 minutes).

I am buying a whole new computer and building it for the first time. I am planning on moving and when I do, I want to know that I can prevent static killing all my new hardware.

The Layout of the Apartment is Mostly carpet and the only tiles are in the Kitchen and Bathroom. I want to prevent as much static for it being the first time. I have no anti static equipment.

There is a table in the Living Room and a counter top in the Kitchen. Should I build in my room? Kitchen? Living Room? I don't want my new computer ruined. Is there any stuff I should buy

before building it?
