Plexus help

I need a bit of help with how to do the effect at 0:51 seconds in this video around the gun. 

Not sure where to get it or how to apply it. Help is appreciated

I would guess you create a layer mask or a path around the gun and motion tracks it. Not sure though since I haven't used plexus. One thing though. Try to be original and not create something that already exists. (Maybe you aren't but I felt it was worht telling.)
