Hey guys, I just built my first computer recently and I was thinking about SLI'ing my GTX 770's? Should I or should I not? Tell me what you think I should do, it would help me better in getting an answer.

I use it for gaming mostly, graphics intense as some would call it. Guild Wars 2, Battlefield 3... Just gaming all round.

Well you will most likely not need it.. I mean are you not happy with your fps? do you have a 120 hz monitor? do you play at 1440p or with 3 monitors ?

With 144 Hz it is okay to sli. PSU is enough too but you need to oc your cpu a little :D

What program do you recommend I use to oc my cpu?

You CPU is plenty for SLI, you can get mild overclocking with a click of a button from some software programs.

If you have the money for a second GPU and you feel you want more FPS then get it.

Pros

1. It looks awesome

2. Up to double the FPS

3. More video port options.

Cons

1. If they are sandwiched together you will experience higher heat and noise from your top GPU

2. More power usage

    CPU: 3930k  @ stock                                  RAM: 32GB RipjawsZ @ 2133Mhz       Cooling: Custom Loop
MOBO: AsRock x79 Extreme9                      SSD: 240GB Vertex 3 (OS)                     Case: HAF XB                     LG 34um95 + Ergotron MX Arm Mount - Dual Review
GPUs: Gigabyte GTX 670 SLI                     HDD: 1TB WD Black                                PSU: Corsair AX 860                               Beyerdynamic - Custom One Pro Review

+ eventually micro stuttering.

To be honest, I have never noticed any micro stuttering on my GPUs, although it exists with other people, and is a point to consider.

As long as your FPS not going  down <40 FPS you will not really notice it.

You can watch this start @ 4 min http://www.pcgameshardware.de/Grafikkarten-Grafikkarte-97980/News/Asus-VG278HE-144-Hz-versus-60-Hz-im-direkten-Videovergleich-sehen-Sie-den-Unterschied-1027897/

There you can see that on the right and left side the vegetation is better on 144 hz, but here was only a single card in use.

You can watch this too http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zOtre2f4qZs
