Turn down Both dials a bit, sometimes i have noticed that it does not like sitting there with no noise and midway or higher.

What do you have plugged into the mixamp?

Its pretty much there at idling noise. When you play music or do things it SHOULD go away, but doesnt always. Its a known issue. Not entirley sure how to fully fix it, thats just what ive done to remedy it.

just the headset

The only problem I have is that I get is this really loud buzzing noise when I plug the usb cable into the xbox but it only does it on the xbox so I'm guessing it doesn't like certain voltages. Try plugging it into different ports

If that doesn't work then you can try updating the firmware on the mixamp.
