If anyone who is on this forum who uses IOS more than likely has jailbroken their devices, if you have and are also interested in the people behind it and even the code that it takes to make a jailbreak then you might have heard of P0sixninja or Joshua Hill. he is behind some of the best jailbreaks out. He has now released a website called OpenJailbreak.org. This and I quote from Hill's word is

"there are five different types of jailbreak users; average users, fanboys/girls, developers, security researchers and jailbreak creators. OpenJailbreak.org is aimed at the last three, as well as anyone who wants to learn more about how jailbreaks are created from the ground up."

I my self have been jailbreaking Idevices for years now since IOS 3.1, and have been wanting to develop my own for sometime and didn't know where to start but now it looks like we are getting that source we needed. Is this good or bad for Apple since they DO NOT want people jailbreaking the devices since it allows unlocks, illegal downloads, and modifications done by the user? Do you think this will help apple to find bugs and such within their devices? I would like to hear your impute on this subject.

I honestly don't think this is going to cause any more people to jailbreak, only more solutions to get there. As far as Apple not wanting people to Jailbreak their device, It's my device and I'll do whatever I want with it. However, I think a lot of the new features in iOS are coming directly from what people are doing with jailbreaking, so it benefits everyone in the end.

A lot of IOS 7 things are coming from Jailbreaking, the pull down bar was from SBSettings, the theme is from an old, old theme from the IOS 4.2.1 days. I Hill also said that he wanted this to be done so that they can have an IOS 7 jailbreak sooner rather than later, also I think it will help get those jailbreak updates and untethered jailbreaks much, much faster.

The same as how Google implemented some of the great features from Android custom ROMs. Much as they don't like it, it's actually helping them in some ways.
