Optimize a display?

Go to solution Solved by Kayn,

If you go into CCC you can look for a setting under "My Digital Flat-Panels" for overscan/underscan if you're using HDMI to connect your monitor to your GPU.

Hello everyone,

I am just wondering how to optimize a display fully with windows seven. Is there an automatic way that windows detects? I am using a Gigabyte HD 7950 and for some reason, my 1080p display wont fit 1080p resolution. If anyone has any help on optimizing a display let me know.

Thanks,

Gabe

Windows usually does a fantastic job of optimisng monitors typically, however if you right click on the desktop and click on screen resolution you can adjust settings from there

There's an under scan / over scan option in catalyst control centre, adjust the slider till you get the correct fit.

Thanks, this got it to work. The only problem is that its a shitty display, the worst bottleneck. Gonna just spend the extra 150 to get a new one. Its hard to enjoy the performance when the display is so bad.
