Hi everyone,

I am thinking about setting up a home storage/backup server and running it on Windows Home Server 2011. I'm thinking of using 3 1tb Western Digital blues in RAID 5 for storage and one 250gb WD blue for the os. Most inexpensive mobos dont support on-board RAID 5, so I will need to buy a RAID card. My price range is up to around $200-250. I would also like the card to be PCIe x1 or PCI for compatability. If anyone knows of the right card for this application, please tell me below, thanks!

An LSI 9260-4i + Fastpath software is @ 400.00.

Anything less isn't worth it......take it from someone who's been there.
