Computer lags after using it

After using my computer for 30-35 min it will get really slow. Slow to the fact that i cant use it and need to restart. Everything registers but something like a mouse movement will happen 10 seconds after i do it. And when i try to open task manager to see if something is wrong with ram/cpu/disk it opens 10 min later and says "not responding" and doesn't show me anything. I have a 4790k and a GTX 970 with 8 gigs of ram and windows 10 64 bit. I had a similar problem before but it wasnt as severe and i thought i resolved it a while ago.

Check your temps.

I cant really because while it is happening nothing will open or read anything. But when i feel the air being blown out of my computer it is cool compared to when im playing games

i ran one and it came up clean. It looks like my Ram is slowly being consumed though. Just 10 min ago i was at 45% usage and now im almost at 80%
