Budget: lower the better but not so low

I'll be using this as a budget gaming PC and over the years slowly upgrade it to what I want, presumably i5-4460 and GTX970. Most of the time I will be playing minecraft, but as time goes on and I get better hardware I will be moving onto more demanding games, such as GTA V. Most of the time I have two applications running (music and minecraft etc) defiantly will be overclocking the CPU.

(I did splurge some more money into the case and monitor as I won't be upgrading them and I'm happy with them)

Thanks,

The Pentium is all a really need for minecraft, and when I overclock it will be even better for minecraft. I'm not going to be playing and other games besides that on the Pentium until I upgrade to an i5.

Your case is in no way worth spending more money on than your GPU and CPU, and ya a G3258 is not a very good CPU overall but especially for gaming, and that is a way overpriced monitor, it was 60Hz TN from what I saw, defiantly not worth it over an IPS display that's 2 inches smaller

I also upgraded pretty much everything

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?
