Help me guess the object (Cont'd)

Ok, so you may remember my last post. If you don't, then pay attention here. My brother bought me a mystery item off Newegg. Won't tell me what it is or the price. It's a christmas present and it's killing me slowly. I must know what it is. I have an overflow of hints he gave me, but I'm still stumped.

 

Hints:

The name of the object is a single english letter

It accompanies my incoming r9 390, he said if I were to rip the 390 out of my pc and chuck it across the room, the object would come with it

It's apparently larger than the 390, and more important than it as well

It IS a computer component.

It goes inside the PC

Not many people have them

It might help with fps in games

I will thoroughly enjoy it and use it often

I DO NOT have one already

It's not a PSU/SSD/MOBO

 

I'm still lost. Anything helps (except shitposts, those never help)

hmm, well another 390 is plausible but I dont really have 2 pcie slots so that'd be silly. However hes not one to cheap out as I asked for a 380x, and he said ew those are bad what about a 970, then the 390 came into play.

but what cooler? he said it was just a single item and even one of those aio coolers mounted on would take a bracket or something as well.

That's the only thing that's making me think something else.

I solved it. It was a fucking 390x. Epic riddle. thanks for the help everyone. think about it, higher fps, 1 more letter, and he got me an Msi 8g which IS a tad taller than the 390 strix I thought he was getting
