Is 5400rpm hard drive ok for elgato gchd?

I7-6700k, Asus Maximus VIII Formula, 2 x 8GB Corsair Dominator Plantinum ram, ASUS GTX 960 STRIX, sound blaster zx, 1TB boot drive ssd, 128GB/256GB storage ssd, 1TB storage HDD, 4TB of storage (backup),Windows 10 Pro,1000w psu

do you mean encoding video to it? yea it should be fine, it only records at usb 2.0 speeds i think.

 

So 5400rpm drive should when when recording video to it?

Btw, the game capture is going to be 1080p 30fps via usb 2.0 elgato gchd. Can the 5400rpm drive really handle that or will there be missing frames and dropped performance?
