Flash update is failed

Go to solution Solved by Kaita,

You need to update your BIOS. Put back your old i7 4770k , update the BIOS and then put the i7 4790k. Have a look at the list below. Good luck.

So i just upgraded to a 4770k to a 4790k. After putting everything back together and began starting up my computer, it wouldn't post after it turns off. It started with a 15 on the debug coding thing then to a DB. In which DB means "Flash update Is Failed" in the motherboard  manual.

Motherboard: G1-Sniper 5

try taking out the cmos battery
also, that seems like a rather pointless and expensive upgrade imo

A. Remove and Re-Install the CMOS Battery

B. (If a super fancy MoBo) revert to the secondary BIOS.
