CD/DVD-ROM issues Windows 10, help :'(

Greetings,

I guess "peripherals" is the most related cathegory for this topic.. Hopefully

I have a Lenovo Z50-75, with a CD-DVD+RW-ROM (tsstcorp cddvdw su-228fb) that I am having some driver issues with.

I just swapped out the original drive with an SSD and installed Windows 10. Now the driver/unit will be shown under "other devices (?)".. And it states it is working correctly, but not showing up in "This computer".

Then I tried to change the driver and use the Windows/Microsoft driver.. Now it shows up in "this computer", but it won't read any CD/DVDs.

I checked the original drive and it using Microsofts driver and works perfect. The computer also came with Windows 10.. So even using the same OS and driver as the computer came with, it still wont work.

Also googled a little around and checked for some registry changes, but this is only when it is giving error codes.. Which it doesnt with either of the drivers, it states that the driver is working. Even though I did try to do some of the register changes as it suggested.. Still nothing.

I will provide info along the road, if you need any more.. I will appreciate any help.

Have you tried updating any firmware?

Have you tried updating any firmware?

I've tried BIOS and CD/DVD-ROM FW from TSSTcorp.. Said it didnt find the drive. But it works perfectly on the other drive when it came installed from Lenovo, but installing stock/clean Windows 10 won't work.. So Fw shouldnt be needed?
