Phone Recommendations? (Fido/Rogers)

Since my current contract is going to end by the end of this year, I'm starting to look at what devices I can get with a new plan. I'm going for a regular talk and text plan, preferably with either rogers or fido. if anyone can give me some feedback on the devices they offer for those types of plans, that'll be great! thanks!

I have a Nexus 4 and i love it such a great phone and if you buy it directly from google which is a good price then you don't have to be stuck in a contract and can pick whatever plan you wish.
