Help for Blender

Sorry if this is a older question. It's my first time on ltt forums.

 

Coming to the topic, I downloaded Blender (version 2.76b) today. after the installation the folder had 3 executable files. Whenever i try to open any of them a message pops up (will attach picture) and it automatically closes. Can please anyone tell me what the problem is?

I am running

 

Windows 7 Ultimate (64 bit)

i5-4690k

Asus Gtx 960 (4gb)

Asus maximus ranger

 

Please ask if any more info is required.

I think its a sound problem? maybe try installing windows 7 service pack 1 update http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/install-windows-7-service-pack-1

Someone on google says that it worked for him
