I plan to get the D-Link DWA-548 Wireless Adapter. I just want the opinion of the forum on whether or not I should buy this or get something better.

I have 5 MBps wireless speeds and the Adapter supports up to approximately 38 MBps

I dont know what kind of speeds your looking to get or if you do transfers between computers or in house servers, but there is not much difference in price from new AC wireless adapters that are WAY faster and up to the newest standards of wifi. And they are backward compatible so may be worth it to check into them.

Intel Core i7-6700k | 2 X Gigabyte 4GB GTX 970 Overclocked Edition | 16GB (4X4GB) DDR4 2133MHz Corsair Dominator Platinum | MasterCase Pro 5

ASUS Z170 Deluxe Motherboard | 256GB Samsung 840 Pro + Seagate 2TB Storage | Corsair Hydro H80i GT | Windows 10 Pro 64bit | Corsair HX850i
