PS3 Controller Issues

Hello,

 

I have been using my PS3 controller for a while on my desktop using motionjoy. However, I have recently tried to connect it to my laptop to play with it on the go, but it just doesn't appear on the motionjoy list to even install it drives.

 

The following is all the infromation that might be relevant placed in the form of bulletpoints:

 

1. I use win10 on both machines.

2. The controller installed it's own drivers once I connected it.

3. It is lighting up and when I open devices it is listed as dualshock 3.

4. If i open device manager it is not listed.

5. Motionjoy displays the ports used, but fails to load drivers.

6. I tried connecting a USB PS4 controller (not mine) and it worked perfectly fine.
