Is the "4-pin peripheral" that comes with my seasonic psu the same thing as a "4 pin to molex " to use with my fan case? Or do I need to buy new cables?

4-pin peripheral connectors are called molex. newly released cases do not use

molex connections for fans other than possibly through a fan controller.
