So I am building my first computer and I need some advice on what CPU to get.

Here is my build http://pcpartpicker.com/p/sJrsTW

I already bought the mobo, ram and case. I was debating on getting the 4460 or the 4690(non k) and i want to know which one is the best choice. And would I have to update my motherboard for either of these CPU or would they work with it right out of the box. I searched google and i just want other opinions so I get the right CPU.

If you get the 4460 over the 4690, you'd save about $40, which you can put into a better PSU.

yah 4460, or maybe 4670k if you can afford it. :D

Will 4670k work on an h81 and if i ever wanted to overclock it(probably will never) could I do it on an h81 and is it compatible straight out of the box with my mobo.

You cannot overclock on an H81 motherboard.  If you want to overclock, you will have to have at least a Z87 motherboard, but I would recommend a Z97 motherboard, because they support PCI-E and M.2 SSDs, and they are newer and therefor usually more reliable.  You can Non-Z overclock with some H97 boards, but it is well worth getting a Z-board.

Ok so can I get 4670k since i will never be over clocking it and it will still work on an h81 mobo or should i get the 4690(non k).

No point in getting an overclockable CPU if you're not gonna overclock.

Stick with the 4460 and put the extra money into something like an SSD

I would recommend dropping the Seagate HDD. They have a reputation for a higher failure rate when compared to Western Digital. You would also seriously benefit from an SSD for your operating system as well as a few games.

Other than that you have a pretty good build for the money.

i7-4790k @ 4.7GHz, 16GB DDR3 @1866MHz, MSI Gaming X 8G GTX 1080@2060MHz, 500GB SSD, 2TB Raid 0 HDD, 240GB Raid 0 SSD, EVGA SuperNOVA 850W PSU, Fractal Design Define R5 Windowed
