Wow thanks :) I'm seriously considering this. Can the onboard audio on my rampage v handle hd 600/650?

if they can handle my598 im sure they would be okay with those

eh it's stretching it, the hd598 have 50 ohms while these are close to 300 so you might need a little bit extra to power them. 

Too bad it's still a lot in canada.

Pretty great price on the HD 600, lowest we've seen. HD 650 has been cheaper at around $289 but $299 is still good.

Pobably not,  you should get an amp to get the most out of them
