PC Upgrade Help

Hello everyone yet again  B) 

 

So I'm here today asking for some advice/suggestions for my PC upgrade/build this summer! So I've had it for about a year now and thought it was time to make this baby shine once again. I'll be finishing the build off with me swapping some components out to color code it and allow better cooling inside the case. Here are some of the plans. 

 

PLANS

• Upgrade Stock Case fans/Water-cooling fans

• Install LED Lights inside case & underneath the case 

• Upgrade PSU to allow new cables (Non to Full module upgrade)

• Either change GPU or spray my ugly MSI GTX 970 Golden edition to red

So I was wondering what do you think? Have you got any suggestion for my fans? The front fans can be as ugly as you want, as they won't be visible in the side window, but the rest have to be either black/red (non led). I wan't the fans to be pretty much silent while maintaining the same temperature or better as the stock fans! 

Also what do you think about the GPU? What method should I do?

No thanks, Not an AMD Fan firstly and also I'm not going to put an extra $500 in for a graphics card now, when in 3 years I'm going to be building a new PC and GPU's by then will be fully 4K optimized

I think if you really want to save money, go ahead paint your 970 red. Probably 5 coats? Anyway, be careful when painting!

Is it safe if I get heat proof paint or what ever, won't effect the cooling/performance or anything like that? As I'll be painting the pipes/rads (so basically the lot)?
