Whats better?

I feel like this is posted somewhere but i cant find it, if so lock and post link, whatever needs to be done its all good.....with black Friday approaching Id like to buy a second gtx 970 (amongst other things) but a friend suggested selling my current one and buying a 980/980ti stating it would perform better on my 3x1080p monitors? Is it worth the hassle of selling one?

@thatguyyouknow75 I wouldn't really see it being worth selling your 970 just got get a 980 but if you could get a decent amount for it before black friday comes why not? It's not really a "hassle" more of posting it on craigslist and finding someone willing to pay money for it.

I could sell it after, but the way craigslist goes is I ask for a fair price (200USD) and they offer half right off the bat, then we agree on somewhere in between and they flake out 4 times and never show up

Yeah man, if you don't want to wait for it and have a chance at not getting your money Two 970s is perfectly fine as long as the game has good SLI optimization, not sure how good it is these days. Maybe just stick with one and put money into something else if your rig is getting decent frames already?
