Hi,

I've recently entered the wonderful overclocking world and I was wondering how much further I could go w/o damaging my gpu : Capture2961.PNGhttp://f53i.imgup.net/Capture2961.PNG

I dont know that i would push the power TO much more if your going to, but your best bet is to move up slowly, run a test for a while, if it runs fine and temps are safe move up a little more.

IMPORTANT: when you find the clock your happy with, run a 24 hour test (or longer) and make sure temps and everything is good and keep it there!

Every card is different only you can really know

I know that, but theoretically, what max voltage could I apply? I don't want to fry my gpu^^

Seems like you have a custom bios..

If you did not, its generally safe to overclock with any setting in the standalone program.

Say, if you maxed everything out that is stable, it would be fine.

I don't have any custom bios, just the stock one from msi (I have the msi gtx970 gaming 4G).

If i maxed out everything, wouldn't be the voltage too high?

my 970 can only muster up +37 volts and nvidia cards are pretty safe chances are you won't fry it

I guess you meant mV and not V?

I just checked, and the maximum I can reach in afterburner is 1.290V

Don't apply it, just screenshot it

If I had your card, I would max out power limit, and, the max I would go on voltage would be 50+

Core and Memory goes to whatever is stable.

Thanks :) I'll try that when I'll have the time
