Well, since my other thread (http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/487994-is-this-build-good-v2) was pretty much a war zone, I am having another go with a slightly changed part list.

This time, I ask that you read EVERYTHING and ask you to answer my questions a-e (Did anyone actually notice my questions? xD).

OK. You have read this part, and you are ready.

I have been looking for a new computer and I wanted to build a solid budget build.

I took note of a previous comment and I have made a Skylake and a Haswell system.

Haswell: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/ZHnBCJ

Skylake: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/BFYKwP

QUESTIONS

a.) Is it good, or does it need changing?

b.) How low can I expect the pricing to be on Black Friday?

c.) Can I swap out the BLACK 1TB drive for a Blue 1TB drive and still get good read/write speeds and reliability?

d.) What is a cool, quiet, and power efficient 390 (I don't need any extra performance) that can compete with a GTX 970?

e.) Should I go with Skylake now for a future unlocked Skylake CPU upgrade? (Skylake CPUs will be more available than Haswell and will have better performance at the cost of only $50 more now)

Thanks again.

NOTES:

I am going for an overclockable chipset on both builds so I can overclock in the future.

Yes, I changed the GTX 970 to a R9 390. (Go to question d)

b - likely 10-25% off
c - Blue is the best price:performance
d - Sapphire Nitro - barely breaks 70*C after an OC usually and is quite quiet (Ask @App4that)
e - Skylake is 8% more power give or take

I honestly want this system to last, I want an authentic Win 10 installation. If the rest of my build costs 900 dollars, I think it is worth it to spend 100 more to make it usable via an authentic OS.

I know - the OS keys on G2A should also be legit - they are just intended for poor countries.

I would get a bigger psu if you want to do any overclocking
