Worth the upgrade?

Thniking about upgrading my PC for better performance in software like after effects cc and also playing games like battlefield 4, and other CPU intensive games.

I intend to upgrade the CPU to an (£169)I5 4690k and a (£60) msi z97 motherboard so I can overclock it.

Is it worth the upgrade?

PC specs as of now:

CPU- Intel pentim g3258

Graphics card- sapphire r9 270x

Mobo- gigabyte b85m D3H

Ram- 8gb corsair l.p

Psu - 500w corsair modular

yeah, id recommend doing so to get more stable framerates

then a gpu upgrade and you are good
