Phubbing:

The act of snubbing someone in a social setting by looking at your phone instead of paying attention.

 

The technological equivalent of snubbing, phubbing is a relatively new phenomenon that has come about due to the advent of social media platforms such as facebook , twitter , tumblr and instagram . The frequency of phubbing has increased exponentially in recent times, which is strongly correlated to the rise in ‘social’ media. The term itself highlights the paradoxical anti-social behaviour that is born from social media.

I saw it more as a general conversation starter and more relevant to real life situations then actual spam, the sources look like it's a cause the OP is concerned about and is passionate for rather than a advertisement. I've yet to check out the links though so I could be wrong :)

I edited my first post, i reported so we can be sure, this looks spam, but i am not 100% sure.
