ssd partition

Hey! I have a mid 2012 macbook pro and I recently upgraded the RAM to 16GB. Next, I'm thinking of upgrading the internal storage. I'm considering buying a 128GB Samsung 850 Evo and a hdd (I don't know which yet). I plan on using the ssd as my boot drive, and run windows and OSX. Is it possible to use the ssd for the OSs only and the hdd for media and share the data on the hdd between the two OSs (obviously, os specific programs won't work on the two)? And, is 128GBs enough to install OSX and Windows 10 on it?

Yes and yes. Although Windows has a habit of bloating over time so how you maintain it, plays a significant part.
