Hi, so i need to create a database for my college assignment and my mind has gone blank on what to call certain items within the gpu the card i will be using for the example is:

https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/msi-video-card-gtx970gaming4g

my database will include:

CoreClock[1.14Ghz]

series[900]

memory[4gb]

chip manufacturer name[Nvidia]

card manufacturer name[MSI]

Brand{Gefroce}

My main question is what is the 70 bit of the 970 called? as its part of the 900 series but the 70th {BLANK}

and is the Brand correct with being geforce/AMD? or is there a better name for this?

Please ask questions if you need to

thank you so much to anyone who helps!

I don't understand your question you mean the 70 behind the 900 (970)?

If that's the case then I know the answer. the number behind the 500,600,700 and 900 series means for what kind of purpose it is (what kind of range). 950 and 960 are low-range, 970 and 980 ar high-end and GTX 980ti and GTX Titan X are enthushiasts cards.

GPU Model?

Also you spelt Nvidia wrong. Here's how you would pronounce it N-VID-Eye-Ah

Judge a product on its own merits AND the company that made it.

GeForce is more designed for gamers and the Quadro series is more designed for workstation like drawing and other stuff like that.
