Go to solution Solved by stconquest,

If it's required then yes, but I'd just like a list that ships to Aus, is silent enough so my microphone doesn't pick it up and is under 2k, thx.

My original build is exactly that.

I made a balls to the wall build here, it is ready for a second GTX 980Ti if you just love spending money:

Here's the specs I'd you to rate in gaming comparison and how many fps I'd expect from the better PC on games such as GTA V, Fallout 4 essentially high graphics games.

First PC

Specs:

-Corsair Obsidian 250D Case

-Intel Core i7 4790 CPU

- ASUS Z87I-Plus Motherboard

-Corsair RM-750 ATX Power Supply

-16GB DDR3 1600Mhz Memory

-2TB 7200RPM HDD

-DVD-R/RW/CD-R/RW

-Microsoft Windows 8.1

-Corsair H100i Liquid Cooler

-Nvidia GTX 760 2GB

This is the second PC

Specs: -Corsair Obsidian 450D Case

-Intel Core i7 4790K CPU

- ASUS Z97-Deluxe Motherboard

-Corsair RM-1000 ATX Power Supply

-16GB DDR3 1600Mhz Memory

-2TB 7200RPM HDD

-DVD-R/RW/CD-R/RW

-Microsoft Windows 8.1 -Samsung 250GB 840 SSD

-Corsair H100i Liquid Cooler

-Nvidia GTX 780Ti SC 3GB

I would also like to know how you'd rate this among pcs such as Alienware, is this better or worse and how much would you price this computer at?

Thank you very much :)

The first costs just under 2000 and the second is barely under 3000, it's an Australian based company, do you have any recommendations then?

EDIT

the company's called Phoenix PCs

I know that building a pcs way better then prebuilt but I'm looking for a prebuilt since I don't have the time/equipment to build my own

It's really easy to learn. There are plenty of videos out there where you can learn the ins and outs of pc building.

Ah well, I might try that then, any idea how many fps I'd expect from this design and any videos I can use to help me with building it?

Much appreciated.

It depends on the game.  That PC is on the higher end of the performance spectrum.  Expect a solid 60 FPS in every game with the most demanding titles being graphically tuned to stay at 60FPS.

Just for fun:

Ok, what about GTA V and Fallout 4? (Sorry I'm dragging this out a bit, I'm really happy with the service tho)

And can I have a video to use as reference?

Fallout 4 has issues, but the 390 can pin 60FPS outside of cities with maxed settings... inside the cities gets a little messier.  You have to lower shadow distance to medium, and god rays to medium too.

GTAV will run fine.

Can I just ask what you mean by this? I don't quite understand how it can get messier inside cities

Also, is this design loud? Because I'm planning on doing yet on it

And can I also ask if there's a better option from this, you said it's in the better part of the high spectrum so I'm pretty happy with that

Well you have to spend more.  The 980Ti is like $1000 in Australia.

ah.. May I ask for a components list that ships to Australia, is quiet and can withstand high gaming?

(I'm all good if this is asking a bit too much, you've already done enough)

Ok, thank you very much! I might stick with the first one and perhaps change the case (I like the weird alien case) thank you very much.

One last thing tho (cringe) can I grab a video, I looked at the five yr old one provided (xD) but it wasn't very informative, thanks!

I seriously recommend the Phanteks Enthoo Pro.  It comes with large fans(quiet) and is very well built.  I consider it the best value at it's price range.

This is a good case, but you are spending $50 solely for aesthetics:  http://au.pcpartpicker.com/part/nzxt-case-can450ww1

All I did was change the storage solution:

The original has a 500GB SSD.

The second one has a 250GB SSD and a 1TB mechanical drive.

I personally like the 500GB SSD option.
