In the neighborhood to get a new PSU when suddenly I found myself taking a liking to the Corsair HX750i. Right now, I know it's overkill for the Xeon E3-1241v3 and R9 390. I just need something that will last and won't draw too much excess of power because of the electric bill.

In the future, I want to Crossfire the 390 somewhere down the line, so is this PSU enough?

(Extra): I know this isn't relevant to the topic, but is Powercolor a good brand? They make a sexy af R9 390 and I want to know if the quality is decent.

Don't be fooled by the bottom line of my sig, that is just for my travels.

So you're telling me that Gaben is no God? Enough of your foolishness.

My hardware you ask? I'm using a Dell Inspiron 3217 Notebook... With an LG 25UM57.

yeah, it's enough. And Powercolor is mixed from what I understand but have gotten better.

Can you get an EVGA G2/GS/GQ instead though? Better value that way.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

Powercolour is in in the Sapphrie/MSI region of the quality spectrum for AMD cards so you're good on that front.

I'm pretty sure 750W is enough, but not if you OC.

I actually looked at an EVGA GS over the weekend, but missed the chance for an 850 watt for $50.

Well sucks you missed it is really good, and for 50 bucks? Never seen it that low.

My bad, it was a 750 watt. Wasn't reading the listing right at the time
