Help - "CPU Fan Error!"

MrStealYourOverpricedGPU

So yesterday I decided to build my first pc, everything went very smoothly except for one thing.

When I first boot up the pc it says "CPU Fan Error!" Press F1 to continue to the BIOs menu (Or something along those lines)  All of my case fans and my water cooler are working.  It doesn't seem like it is effecting anything, but I just would like to know what this is and possibly how to fix it.

If anyone needs specs, motherboard, fans, etc. feel free to ask.

Thanks to anyone that can help! :)

Also I'm new to the forums so if this is in the wrong section or something feel free to say so :)

This usually happens with the connectors on the motherboard for the cpu fan isn't connected to a fan. In order to fix the error, you have to plug a fan into the motherboard slot for CPU_FAN.

I checked and a fan is plugged into CPU_FAN, I have 5 fans in total.

You can probably tell I'm fairly new to this stuff xD

All 5 of my fans are plugged in and are spinning perfectly. I have a Corsair H80i water cooling unit that is also working great. (I can feel the water going through the tubes so I know it's working properly)

Thats common error. If you got pump connected to CPU_FAN, starting speed of pump is lower than default setting in BIOS for warning. You can do one of two things. Either change rpm where warning is shown. Or disable whole warning. It won't harm your hardware as PC will autoshutdown when max temp for CPU is reached. You can adjust that temp in BIOS too.
