Post above. Depends what the original budget was but this is good enough for the price altho GPU could've been better. c: Also what is that flat cable doing!? Is there no way to route it to make it unseeable?

So many people hate on the FX processors, so I am used to it. I chose it, because at the price, with a few tweaks, an 8320 competes with 4th gen i5's in gaming, and blows them away in encoding and decoding. As for the 960, can you show me another card with h .265 encoding/ decoding?

I wish there was, It's the USB 3 header cable, and the mobo IO for it is way at the back :/

In gaming, no offense the FX barely keeps up with a i5-2500k lol...

Well, I get rock solid 80 FPS in Battlefield 4/ hardline settings maxed at 1080p. I don't see the issue. Though, the kingston SSD was a gift, LOL. I would not buy that. hahahaha

'Good enough' - Statement implying it gets the job done but could've been better.

8320 doesn't compete with any intel CPU in single threaded though.. R9 380 for the GPU?

I admit i used to own an 8320, and a MSI 970a G43.

I currently own a Kinsgton SSD (gift) and a low end Rosewill PSU.

when i bought that mobo/CPU/PSU, i was young and stupid. thats why this post made me cry, experience.

Your fan boyism is showing.

No lol. Cores and higher clock speed mean nothing when IPC is crap. Gaming wise, an i3 or a used i5-2500k is better.

Personally, a Xeon1231v3 with a cheap ass mono and no aftermarket cooler along with a better PSU like XFX or SeaSonic would be better

I agree, the weakpoint with FX chips is single thread performance, as for the GPU I needed it for h .265 encoding/decoding.

@Ryan_68

You'll be able to runs games at decent settings, enjoy your build.

That mobo scares me though.  The SSDs are fine.

Yeah, the mobo is the only part I regret, but was tight on cash, I think I am going to buy a new board on boxing day.
