Does anyone know what happened with G-Sync and why Nvidia decided to stop producing upgrade kits for the Asus VG248QE?

I absentmindedly picked one up without looking online to see if the G-Sync module was available (I assumed it would be) but apparently it's pretty hard to find. Anyone know if they're available anywhere? Regardless, I can't wait to experience the glory that is 144Hz.

You'll probably be able to find one on eBay or something.

But since they're no longer in production you're gonna have a hard time finding one from anywhere other than eBay.

I wouldn't be surprised if people were breaking monitors, or trying to fit the GSync module to other monitors. Or maybe the profits were just better by partnering up to create monitors with GSync from the start.
