Corsair K95 Short Review

Honeydiddle

Hello all and welcome to my first review on the Linus Tech Tips forum.

So basically i have never owned a mechanical keyboard before. I didn't know which one to go with but i decided on the K95 as it was aesthetically pleasing and full mechanical unlike the K90

First Impressions: Well packaged. No damage to product. Looks amazing

Typing is a dream with the K95, i can actually type much faster than i could on my rubber dome keyboard and it sounds cool which is a plus for some.

Pros:

Backlighting with 3 different brightness settings.

Full mechanical

Durable brushed aluminium finish

Comfortable perforated wrist wrest

Cherry MX Red switches - A pro for me as i did have a short go on browns and disliked them

Cons:

No headset input/output (many won't need this)

To conclude i will finish by saying that this is an amazing keyboard, i love mechanical and corsair has done a brilliant job of making a high end gaming keyboard.
