Hello guys.. Im kinda new here. The past few days I've been watching LinusTech videos and im glad to discover the youtube channel since I learned a lot.

I am now posting here since I know there are a lot of experts here who can give me suggestions regarding building and upgrading pc.

I wanted to build a new PC for my brother. Few days ago I bought new hardware for my pc so I am thinking I can give my old hardware to my brother and build him a new PC.

So I am wondering of good CPU parts we can get out of $300 budget. I already have all other parts like monitor, mouse, keyboard, etc. We just need a CPU.

Also I do have extra 1x2GB G-Skill RipjawsX Ram for my brother because I recently bought 2x4GB G-Skill Ram.

Another thing is I have extra $200 budget for my own PC. Just this week I bought new 1080p Monitor, Razer Keyboard, Mouse and Mat. I have AMD Athlon II x3 455 on Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2 Board with GPU Radeon HD 7750 and 500GB HDD. My casing is VS-3 from Aerocool with Gammax 400 proc cooler and I also have true rated PSU. Now I am wondering what I could do with extra $200. Should I buy SSD or should I just keep this money for future upgrade or should I upgrade other stuff?

Please guide me with this two. Thanks in advance!

CPU: Ryzen 7 5800X | MOBO: Gigabyte B550 Vision D | RAM: Crucial Ballistix RGB 32GB 3600MHz | GPU: Gigabyte RTX 3070 Vision D | PSU: Seasonic Focus+ Gold 750W

So you have an:

Athlon x3

7750

HDD

PSU

And then you have 300 to spend on upgrading it?

What power supply is it?

and is this all US?

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

I have $200 here but I dont know whether I should upgrade it or just save more money for future upgrades. I have Corsair VS450 PSU. I am from Philippines.

I have here $300 to build a new PC for my brother.. I hope you can help me build a good pc for my brother. He likes to play League of Legends, Dota2, Dragon Nest, etc.

I would suggest a simple APU build for him in that case, should be fine

As for your build, I'd just keep on saving, not much you can really upgrade at this point unless you were going to sell your rig and build one similar to his, least then you'd have new parts and all if your build is older, and a quad core over a tri-core, and really any A8 or above kaveri APU is going to perform about on par with that 7750

I also don't know where you can shop or what the cost is going to be so, just use that as a guide, all you really want is 2400mhz RAM if possible and anything that's an A8 7650K or above

You basically end up with a PC about as powerful as a current gen console
