I would say it depends on what you are doing... are you just gaming? If so then you can get away with a 4770/4790. If you are doing content creation and vm's then the 2011 cpu will be of benefit to you.

The thing is this sucker is like 400bucks where i live +the mobo for 250 xD

theres a heckton of cheap 1150 mobo tho

mobo you could pick something like the asus z97 ar ;)

the best bang for the buck i've seen while watching for z97 was an asrock aniversary
